Ladzekpo from Ghana and Jean Louis Mbemba Pangou from the Congo as well as Bay Area violin phenomenon Anthony Blea! Sat. 9/28 Gordon Biersch Brewpub San Jose Come hear Hadley playing multi-percussion backing up talented singer/songwriter Jerry Kennedy on guitar. Nice Stevie-Wonder-esque grooves and tolerable beer!

Sun. 9/29 Come hear Hadley's jazz unit - "BRIDGES" in a rare public performance in the street. We're very happy to feature Bo Freeman on acoustic and electric basses, Pepe Jacobo on traps and Paul Sonnabend on congas, and maybe some special guests. I'll be on piano! Playing new interpretations of jazz standards, as well as some originals, come catch us at the Rockridge Street Fair on Sunday 9/29 from 1 - 4 p.m. in front of Hudson Bay Café 540 5401 College Avenue (Corner of College and Manilla/Hudson).

Fri. 10/4 A Rare appearance of "Los Bros" our rumba ensemble. We'll be warming up the crowd for a presentation by Michael Ruppert, a penetrating political analyst who's been tracking BushInc for the last couple decades. 6:15 p.m. on Friday at Lowell High School Auditorium 1101 Eucalyptus Dr. $10-15 sliding scale.

Sat. 10/5 Hear a semi-reunion of the Eulipians. Featuring Brewman Bjerke on woodwinds, Mike Corbett on traps, Rob Lonsdale on bass and Barry on guitars, Hadley on synths, plus special guests, this unique world/jazz sound will be playing in a special benefit to SAVE VENUE NINE! starting at 10: p.m. 252 Ninth St. 415-626-2169. Help save this wonderful venue which has been bringing fantastic culture to the Bay Area for the last ten years.

Sat. 10/12 Hear our inimitable marimba ensemble MARIMBA PACIFICA in a rare four-piece format at Jarvis Winery in Napa. It's a masquerade ball!

Fri. 10/18 MARIMBA PACIFICA - the full ensemble - plays a benefit at La Peña 1600 Shattuck Ave.in Berkeley. Help build the Sister City coalition between Cuba and Berkeley. When the people lead, the leaders will follow!

MONDO HALLOWEEN COSTUME BALL - Friday November 1 at the Black Box Theater 1928 Telegraph Ave in Oakland (www.blackboxoakland.com). Featuring MARIMBA PACIFICA, this event will include COSTUMES!, multiple performances (maybe you!), a mondo ritual with the "Oyaleros" including traditional songs for the Goddess Oya performed on Bembe Guiro by Hadley's shekere ensemble.
